Results and Document Retention

Document Requirements

To receive a Qualification or Statement of Attainment, learners must provide evidence of meeting prerequisite requirements or demonstrate competence in the credit transfer unit(s).

When presenting documents from another RTO, they must include the organization’s letterhead and an authorized signature. These documents must clearly confirm the learner meets all qualification requirements.

Acceptable Documents:

  • A valid testamur, certificate, or statement(s) of attainment (or valid copy)
  • A Statement of Results on official letterhead, signed by an authorized signatory
  • An ‘A Class’ (or interstate equivalent) unrestricted electrical license (for learners in the Certificate IV in Electrical – Rail Signalling, confirming completion of the Certificate III trade qualification)
  • An official RTO document confirming completed units of competency by name/code or other qualification/pre-requisite requirements

Non-accepted Documents:

  • General statements or advice from an RTO or registering body stating apprenticeship completion
  • Letters from an RTO to a licensing body stating eligibility to apply for a license
  • Letters from an RTO faculty or department to another party stating course, qualification, or unit of competency completion

HRD Integrated Services must ensure the authenticity and relevance of any external documents contributing to an award.

Nationally Recognized (AQF) Qualifications and Statements of Attainment

Learners or assessment candidates demonstrating competence in accredited courses, qualifications, or units of competency on HRD Integrated Services’ registration scope are eligible for a Qualification or Statement of Attainment.

HRD will typically issues awards within 30 days of confirming a learner’s eligibility if:

Certificates for Specialised Professional Development Courses

HRD Integrated Services issues a Certificate of Completion to learners who complete a specialised professional development course and satisfactorily pass a knowledge and/or skills assessment.

A Certificate of Attendance is issued for completing training that does not include a knowledge and/or skills assessment.

Advice for Learners and Employers

Access to archived assessment records is limited, and protocols govern the release of a learner’s results.

No formal application is needed to receive your qualification from HRD Integrated Services; it will be generated once all course requirements are met.

A request for re-issuing a certificate or statement of attainment, or for issuing a duplicate testamur, incurs an administrative charge. A $75 fee applies for an historical results search to confirm course completion and results.
