The Inspect Certify and Test Rail Signal Equipment is a 5 day course and complies with the:

MTM SoC – Signal Tester certification

ARTC SoC – Signal Tester certification

The course includes:

• The requirements stated in the Rail Operators Testing Standards
• Inspection of signal equipment locations
• Testing Power Supplies
• Testing Track Circuits
• Testing Signal Lamps
• Testing Point operation
• Testing Cables – including continuity test (bell) and wire count and IR test
• Testing internal box wiring (includes wire count, continuity test and null count)
• Testing Trainstop and TPWS
